The Sunset Path of the Gods is amazing hike cause you will see all the Amalfi Coast and Capri, with an amazing sunset view, you won’t never forget.
The ‘Sunset Gods’ path’ is a classic walking holiday, on which the cliffside routes will take your breath away. Cut inland from the cliffs and you find vineyards and deep gorges.
GODS’ PATH details:
- Difficulty: E (Hiker)
- Duration: 3 hours
- Distance: 7 kms ( 5 miles)
So you need to be MODERATE FIT and wear trekking shoes or gym shoes with a good grip.
Time to start planning
The Path of the Gods is a typical loop trail from Bomerano (Agerola) or from Nocelle (Positano) at loop or from Nocelle (Positano) to Praiano via Convent San Domenico. Once you book check carefully the meeting point details.
We can also hike from Nocelle (Positano) to Bomerano (Agerola).
The start time will change according to the month of the year, so we will start 2 hours before the sunset. So don’t be surprised if I adjust a bit the timing.
If you see a late start, this it will be a Sunset/Night hike with lights.

- Drinks: in Nocelle, a shop will offer us a small free lemon slush tasting. You can also buy water in this shop, very important for the hike. Nice coffee invited.
I will invite a coffee or deka coffee or Ginseng coffee as well if you like. - Equipment: I have 6 trekking sticks (poles) to provide you. It helps to go down and up the trail. It helps also the knees.

We hired him for just our family - two parents and three adult children. I was supposed to be in a larger group but the other guests cancelled last minute so it ended up being a private hike and I appreciated him not cancelling! Enzo was very communicative at making sure I knew how to get to meeting spot and providing very accurate details. And I have learned on this trip not all tours you book go as smoothly as this one. He graciously lent me a hiking stick which was I found invaluable. He told great stories and pointed out so many things along the way. Things you would not have learned unless you had a guide. You have a choice of going all the way to Positano. Our hike started in Bomerano. My husband and I ended in Nocelle. This was a resting point for everyone. Enzo was waiting for us with a cup of lemon slush!! Fantastico! Enzo told us how to catch the bus to Positano.
