AVVOCATA HIKE is a typical trail from Vietri or Cava Dei Tirreni to Avvocata (Maiori) by walking. The view is amazing cause you can see all the Amalfi Coast and Capri.
For the Sunset, we will hike a loop tour to Cappella Vecchia and Nuova, otherwise there no trasportations from Maiori.
The ‘Walk of Avvocata’ descending is a classic walking holiday, on which the cliffside routes will take your breath away. Cut inland from the cliffs and you find lemon groves, vineyards and deep gorges, or follow mule tracks and old trails to picturesque hillside villages.
4 Ds of Avvocata hike:
- Difficulty: E+ (Hiker +)
- Duration: 4 hours
- Distance: 14 kms (10 miles)
- Dislivell in levell: 700 meters going up
So you need to be FIT and wear trekking shoes or gym shoes with a good grip.
Time to start planning
In Maiori we can go to the beach, where I’ll reccomend you a great sea view restaurant. So in the summer you can bring a swimming suit.
